In Matthew 5:16, we are taught, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works." The motto of American International Elementary School's-- "Be a light" is base on this. I would like for all of us to be a light-at our school. I believe that the foundations of our society can be found in our homes. Our homes cultivate love, sharing and peace, and are a place of learning. This should also be the same in our schools. I feel it is necessary to further the moral and mental education that deepens everybody's wisdom.
校訓の『光となるように』は、聖書の中にあるキリストの言葉です。私は、みなさんに、家庭でも、 学校でも光となるようであっていただきたいと考えます。社会の基盤は家庭にあり、家庭は愛を育て、 教える場であるように、このスクールの中でも、それが実践され、みなさんの英知が深まる教育がなされる必要を 感じています。
