心と体を一体としてとらえ、適切な運動の経験と健康・安全についての理解を通して、運動に親しむ資質や能力を育て、健康の保持増進と体力の向上を図り、楽しく明るい生活を営む態度を育てる。誰とでも仲良くし、健康・安全に留意して運動をする態度を育てる。
基本の運動及びゲームを簡単なきまりや活動を工夫して楽しくできるようにするとともに、体力を養う。体力向上のため、毎朝体操を実施。体育の授業では、水泳に力を入れる。6月と9月は週に1度、室内温水スイミングプールを使用予定。
Physical education is necessary for a healthy mind, body and spirit. Through safe, healthy exercise and diet, a healthier well being is achieved. A healthy body leads to a healthy attitude concerning oneself and others. Students will learn basic health and safe exercise techniques.
Through daily morning exercised, physical strength will especially be improved. Students will also become familiar with the game play and rules of sports played around the world.
In Physical Education, an emphasis will be placed on swimming. During summer, students will have an opportunity to enjoy swimming once a week.
